Open Mic

Two poets, one musician, and a dancer—strangers to each other—are on a bus en route to a showcase.

After their bus breaks down, leaving them stranded, they decide to cast aside their cellphones and take turns performing for each other.

What emerges over the next hour is an unforeseen intimacy among people who had only ever exchanged small talk.
