Anjalee Nadarajan – Open Mic

Anjalee Nadarajan is a Tamil-Canadian writer, musician, academic, and workshop facilitator based in Mississauga.

She is a PhD candidate in English literature at York University. She performs on the veena and piano, and she sings Carnatic vocals.

Her writing has been featured in publications such as Living Hyphen, PIVOT, Acta Victoriana, and venues such as York University’s playGround Festival, the Toronto Feminist Arts Committee, and TIFA.

Since 2025, she has also been performing poetry, storytelling, and music at open mics across the GTA.
