Siva Pemmasani – DéJàVu
Siva Pemmasani has been tottering on this earth, tinkering with improv, clown, stand-up, and theatre. Through sheer persistence and a healthy dose of luck, he has somehow earned a few appreciative nods for his comedy—just enough to convince himself it’s time to create a sellable backstory of how he got this far.
He has spent a good chunk of his time training in clown and Commedia dell’arte, thanks to the wonderful community at Sweet Action Theatre, which has been his creative home for quite a while now.
When he’s not softly bragging about playing Ravan in Radio Dhishum’s RamLeela,
or playing a US Border Agent in 2026 Toronto Fringe, he’s probably telling people about riding his Honda Shadow 750cc at a top speed of 150 km/h—a tidbit he’s so irrationally proud of that it somehow made its way into this bio, despite nobody asking.
He is always trying to flex his creative muscle whenever he gets a chance and this year, he decided to take the bull by the horns and create something entirely his own—DéJàVu: an absurd, action-packed, sketch-esque stage comedy infused with everything he finds amusing.
He can’t wait to share DéJàVu at the 2026 Mississauga Fringe and hopes the audience enjoys the ridiculousness coming their way.
