Altaf Lakhani – Dastaan-E-Ishq.exe

Altaf Lakhani is a spoken word artist, storyteller, and performer based in Mississauga, Ontario. Since 2018, he has been sharing original poetry and stories across open mics and community stages, using words to explore themes of love, life, identity, and the human experience.

Over the past year, Altaf has collaborated with a live musical ensemble, weaving spoken word into performances inspired by Sufi traditions, romance, and contemporary reflections on life. His performances blend poetry, storytelling, and music to create intimate, thought-provoking experiences that connect deeply with audiences.

With Dastaan-E-Ishq.exe, Altaf brings his passion for spoken word and oral storytelling to the stage, celebrating the timeless tradition of Dastangoi while exploring the evolving language of love through poetry, humour, and live performance.
