Deval Soni – Ek Cutting Chai

Deval Soni is a South Asian actor and producer based in Toronto, originally from India. He holds degrees in Theatre Arts from Centennial College (Toronto) and Performing Arts (Drama) from Gujarat University (India). His artistic journey spans Canada, India, and Italy, with work across theatre, film, and television.

Deval is the Artistic Director of Dramatic Jukebox, a multimedia collective dedicated to bold and immersive storytelling rooted in South Asian culture. A two-time national award winner in Indian theatre, his creator and performer credits include Gaumukhi – Cow (GTA Fringe Tour 2025), Animalia (Mississauga Multilingual Fringe 2024), and Toba Tek Singh(Toronto Fringe Festival 2024).

His screen credits include Late Bloomer Season 2 (Crave), Mismatched Season 3 (Netflix), and commercial campaigns for CIBC, Vadilal, and Free Fire. In 2026, Deval will premiere his new Hindi storytelling show Ek Cutting Chai at the Mississauga Fringe Festival, followed by a tour of the production in India.
