Dhaarna Anand – DejaVu

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Dhaarna Anand is a trained actor based in the GTA. She holds a diploma in Acting for Film, TV, and Theatre from the Toronto Film School (TFS) and brings extensive experience across screen, stage, and street theatre in both India and Canada.

On screen, she has portrayed a range of leading and supporting roles in short films, silent films, and mobile vertical microdramas, and has appeared in commercial campaigns for multiple brands. On stage, she has been involved in multiple theatre and street-theatre (nukkad-naatak) productions through her training at TFS and with her college’s theatre society in India, Vayam.

She has also performed in improv shows and has also hosted her own student talk show.

Fluent in English and Hindi, and conversational in Punjabi, Dhaarna brings a multilingual, multicultural perspective to her work and is committed to telling honest, grounded, and deeply human stories.
