Harmeet Rehal

Set Design & Promo

Harmeet Rehal (they/them) is a trans, disabled, Sikh-Panjabi, artist, community organizer, educator and researcher based in Tkaronto/Toronto, with roots in working class suburbs in so-called Brampton and Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Across Harmeet’s decade long experience, a Disability Justice approach remains central and they are interested in creating portals where their kin and community can show up in their wholeness. Their artistic focus is illustration, design, and textile art deeply informed by Panjabi design principles. How Do You Remember? is Harmeet’s first formal exploration of set design through a multi-sensorial, crip-queer approach.
