The Big One

Synopsis:

We’re just kids...it’s not like we can stop the earth from shaking.

The Big One follows misguided student turned teacher–Geena–as she moves to Vancouver,
BC, after accepting a job tutoring at an elementary school to save up for her studies.

What is she studying? She hasn’t decided yet.

What she does know is that she has zero interest in the
kids that she is tutoring. That is, until she hears students talking about an urban myth regarding
a super earthquake that will end the world called “The Big One”.

This is a story of grief,
friendship, paranoia, and how to find meaning in life when everything feels so much bigger and
so much more powerful than you.
